About Us
Lutheran Child Care Centre comes under the management of Yishun Christian Church (Lutheran). It was started in February 1986 under a HDB block. The centre takes in children 18 months to 6 years old.
Our main goal is to provide quality child care service and outreach to the children in the Yishun neighbourhood. We believe that building a strong foundation in learning will guide the children to walk in the path of wisdom and prepare them to become responsible adults who will contribute positively to our fast-changing world.

Welcome to Lutheran Child Care Centre
At Lutheran Child Care Centre, we value every child and are committed to develop them holistically. Preschool sets the foundation for learning and growth at an early stage in life and it is important that this foundation built is a solid one.
Each child is a unique individual with different characters and needs. Some children will adapt well in new environment while others may take a longer time to adapt. But do not be worried as very soon they will enjoy coming to the child care with new friends and caring teachers looking after them. Most important is that working mum can go to work with peace of mind.
Lutheran CCC is a ‘Big Family’ where children play, eat, sleep and learn together. They are like brothers and sisters, helping each other and comforting each other in need. They develop friendship and treasure the good moments they have had together at the child care.
Seeing the children’s growth and achievements give me great sense of accomplishment and joy. We will do our best to take good care of your child and hope the child care will be their second home.

Pastor’s Message
Education is an important and core aspect of the Church life, individual or as church family. Our concept of education is a holistic one: it’s spiritual and mental as it addresses the software of the whole person which is crucial for a child’s early foundational development; it’s academic and societal as it addresses the hardware of the person which prepares the child with appropriate academic ability and social consciousness to grow up to be ready for the next level of learning and social responsibility respectively.
LCCC as part of the Church’s education arm will provide a holistic environment and approach for your child’s formation during these formative years. Looking forward to the opportunity to serve you and your family, and to journey with your child during this defining years of their life.
